"Adults accused of keeping two boys in wire dog kennel"

What can you really say about this story?  A couple keeps two of their children in a dog kennel to keep them from escaping the begrimed trailer they lived in.  Again, what can you really say about this story?  I mean to their defense that at least had the forethought to put a mattress in the kennel with them.  And who is this shady neighbor that notified the police.  Sounds a bit suspect to me.  Probably a crystal meth addict with a grudge against his fellow users.  What will continue to baffle me is the fact that I need a license to drive, get married and carry a concealed weapon.  However any idiot can have a child and crate train them like Lassie.
